Miss Rolene Strauss from South Africa was crowned as Miss World 2014 in the much-awaited pageant night that was held on Sunday, December 14th at the Excel London ICC Auditorium, London.

Miss South Africa bested 122 other gorgeous contestants from around the world. Miss Hungry was crowned 2nd Place while Miss United States was hailed as 3rd place.
During the ceremony, contestant walked on stage wearing their colorful costumes representing their countries and territories.
Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines passed the elegant and beautiful crown to Strauss. Megan also hosted the event together with Tim Vincent and Frankie Cena.
The Top 10 finalists include Australia, England, Mexico, Kenya, Brazil, Guyana, and South Africa.
Unfortunately, the representative of the Philippine, Miss Valerie Weigmann was not able to make it to top 25 Quaterfinalist.
Other winners in the pageant night include Best in Talent- Miss Malaysia; People's Choice Award- Miss Thailand; Top Model- Bosnia &Herzogovina, Best in Beach Fashion-Miss Sweden; Multimedia award- Miss United States and Sports award -Miss Finland.
Meanwhile, Miss World 2014 ceremony also featured a tribute to Miss World 1994, Aishwarya Rai.
