PRC announces Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Board Exam Moved to July 2014

To all aspiring accountant, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced recently that the Certified Public Accounts (CPA) Licensure Examination has been re-scheduled to July 20, 21, 28 and 29, 2014, which will be held in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena.

The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure examination was originally scheduled on May 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2014.

According to report,  the board exam was postponed due to the vacancies in the membership of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy which left only two active members of the seven-member board thereby rendering the Board short of the requirement for a quorum to validly perform its duties and functions.

Aside from the rescheduling of the CPA Board Exam, the PRC also announced the new schedules of subjects in the July 2014 CPA Licensure Examination.
